Fr. Mark Haydu, the International Director of the Patrons, energetically tackled North America on his fall book tour promoting his work Mediations on Vatican Art. He visited some twenty cities over a month last fall, including headlining various events in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Orange County. Patrons hosted gatherings where Fr. Mark presented his book and signed hundreds of copies. In California, over 80 Patrons attended a reception at the home of Patrons Janet and Michael Feeley. Another 80 members of the Beverly Hills Women’s Club enjoyed Fr. Mark’s presentation, arranged by Sherry Lansing. Patrons Tim and Steph Bush hosted a luncheon in Orange County, and Mike Caspian welcomed Fr. Mark to the Canyon Legatus meeting attended by some 50 people. Congratulation to Fr. Mark for the great success of his book using pieces of art from the Vatican Collections in his reflections on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Jesuits.
